About
Seifert and Skinner & Associates, Inc. (SSA) is a company focused on the composite industry. The founding associates, Mr. Axel Seifert and Mr. Michael Skinner, have spent all of their careers working in this industry and bring a wealth of experience to the firm. The concept of SSA is to provide a range of products and services to “Facilitate Composites Technology”. SSA will focus on design, development, consulting, training, manufacturers’ representation and other composite related products and services.

Biography of Axel Seifert
Born 1963, studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH (technical university) Aachen, Germany. In 1990 he co-founded MATERIAL S.A., Belgium, an engineering company specializing in filament winding. He is co-developer of the CADWIND process simulation software. As a leading expert in process automation and production optimization he is a seminar instructor and speaker at international conferences about composite processing. Now as a Founding Associate he brings his expertise to Seifert and Skinner & Associates.
Biography of Michael Skinner
Michael L. Skinner has more than 30 years experience in starting and managing composite companies, building composite machinery, developing composite parts and processes, and writing software. He founded his consulting company, Skinner Creative, Inc., in 2002, to help his clients understand and implement manufacturing using advanced composites. He previously managed Entec Composites Machines, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zoltek companies as part of a merger of Composites Machines Company, Inc. (which he founded) with Engineering Technology, Inc. (where he was previously President). Mr. Skinner has published numerous papers in the areas of filament winding, composites and software and written several articles for composite publications. Mr. Skinner has a Masters Degree in electrical engineering. As a well known expert in filament winding he now, as a Founding Associate, brings his expertise to Seifert and Skinner & Associates.
